Therapy through profanity

Warning: do not click this link with kids in the room (or your boss).

Sometimes when I've had a bad day at work, or otherwise feeling lousy, I listen to this famous Earl Weaver radio show clip -- it never fails to cheer me up. Warning again -- objectionable language.

That c*cks*cker was a real gentleman and scholar.

I think the best part is how naturally the answers came to old Earl, and how much conviction he put into them. That and the fact that the interviewer tried to carry on...

Yes, I know it's months later, but I'm sitting home waiting for the furnace repairman to finish the job so I can get my arse to work, and I'm killing time listening to classics like these.

An absolutely unbelievable interview.

Now it's years later - April 3rd, 2009, actually - and I just listened to this again. It's still a scream, and I'm still in disbelief.

Just a class act, Mr. Weaver.
